"Sir-Packs-Alot" Update: Top of Georgia - In line of TOTALITY of Solar Eclipse

Published July 31st, 2017 by Unknown

On Monday, August 21, 2017 the U.S. will witness a Solar Eclipse. Top of Georgia Hiking Center will be one of the locations along a thin band across the United States that actually witness a FULL SOLAR ECLIPSE. TOG is an AMAZING location to witness this event ; located high in the mountains of North Georgia and surrounded by the beauty of the Chattahoochee National Forest. A Solar Eclipse event in the U.S. has not happened since 1918 and the next will not occur until 2024 (making it for many a TRUE "once in a lifetime" event) ! Our "Partial Eclipse Phase" will begin at 2:06 pm EST and the full eclipse (TOTAL DARKNESS) will begin at 2:35pm and last for 2 minutes and 27 secs.
